Velvet is a soft and luxurious fabric. With proper care, it is a material that can last a lifetime! As velvet is sensitive to liquids, we strongly advise against cleaning the fabric with water or using a damp cloth. Dry clean only.

Description

The Luca sofa is handmade in Europe using a luxurious Italian velvet made from 100% cotton, creating a truly comfortable and stylish product. With a seat depth of 65cm and three matching decorative cushions, this sofa is one you can really sink into and curl up on. The sofa is also available with an even deeper seat, the Luca Grande features a 80cm seat depth to give you plenty of space for the whole family. The seat cushion consists of a cold foam core, wrapped in a mixture of cut polythene foam and silicone ball fibers for ultimate comfort and long lasting quality. You can easily update your Luca sofa with a new cover in either velvet or linen.

Fabric composition
100% cotton

We only use 100% cotton velvet from Italy in our furniture range. Cotton velvet is the most durable type of velvet and only consists of natural fibre and therefore healthier to have around the home. Our velvet has a high rub count of 100,000. Velvet is delicate and can mark and change over time, this is part of the charm and characteristics of the material.

When the velvet furniture is packed for transit it is wrapped tightly to avoid any damage. This can sometimes cause indents and marks to the velvet nap which may be visible once unpacked. These marks will fade and disappear over time once the sofa gets a chance to ‘breathe’. A soft bristle brush or gentle clothes steamer can be used to buff out these marks quicker. Temporary impressions on the velvet can be buffed out by plumping the cushion and stroking the fabric using your hand or a fabric brush.
